This is Louis, Mike and Burgundy's Rhodesian Ridgeback/Black Lab mix. He's hardwired to be a loud, scary guard dog. He's scary at first. After you get to know each other, he's a sweetheart. (Don't tell Burgundy and Mike, but Louie's one of my favorite things about visiting them.)

Here's Louie on his way to the kennel for two weeks. This is actually his sedate I'm-just-riding-somewhere look. When we got to their kennel, and Burgundy opened the truck door, Louie went into uh-oh mode.

They have an awesome kennel and Louie got to start his stay with Sonya, one of David and Kathleen's pups.
