The ceremony was to be simple and straightforward, so the rehearsal was even simpler and more straightforward.

Last summer I had a whole hoo-ha trying to find wedding appropriate shoes for my Fred Flinstone feet. So, I found an acceptable pair of Nine West sandals that are being knocked-off all over the place this summer. But I wasn't in love with them.

Thursday, I found these strappy platforms at Target for $17. Rock on, Target.

I spent way too much energy thinking of wedding shoes.
