10 Weeks of Pinch Pots: No. 12-20

Yeah, so then I go into production mode. I get the bright idea to make 3 sets of 3 hanging planters. Really, it's meant to be two sets, but a third one for good measure. I picture hanging these with the largest at top, then medium, then small. First I thought herbs, later succulents.
I got very tired of making these. When they sat there without the hanging tabs, it looked like a had some hangup for never having been breast fed. They looked very mammary all over the table. Doing those tabs 27 times was boring. As a kid, I did very repetitive art projects, like drawing with stippling or other patterns. I don't have the patience anymore.
All that being said, I am very happy with how these turned out. I went for a very simple glaze approach. Mostly, this is because when I went into the glaze room, it was overrun by teenagers in a after school program. They were bad kids, but they've like 15 who had to say every single thing in there head and seemingly very little sense of the space they took up. Have I mentioned lately that I was bored 40 years old?
I dipped all of these once and then again to a lower level. They look wonderfully organic.
