Another favorite. I covered this one in black slip on the outside. When glazing, I masked out the scalloped pattern with wax resist. Then I dipped it in black glaze. I ended up with a very nice matte black, semi gloss black contrast. This is one of those that turned out much like I imagined it. Not often the case with ceramics and glazing, where you have to keep a very open mind to the outcomes.
