Quilt No. 9
Campground sign fabric inspired the latest quilt, and it employs my favorite color combo. Red, yellow and black. I rounded up about a dozen complimentary fabrics and started cutting. The plan was to use the Bento Box pattern. Easy enough, lets all the fabrics elbow each other with the corners.

I made 16 blocks that were concentric squares:


Okay, not bad, sorta ho hum. Next, I cut 'em up into quarters:


And rearranged 'em:

I sewed those together, added borders on two sides and backed the top with egg yolk yellow fleece. Ta-da!
