As for clean rooms, they were. Very well worn, but clean. The veteran carpet had a myriad of stains. We wore shoes, but Jim admitted that the carpet as remarkably soft. We had been discussing going to see Wisconsin Dells' Wonder Spot that day. Jim said, "The Wonder Spot is over by your bed, Brandy."
