New Project Page
On the right, there's a new listing - my recap of the Renegade Craft Fair. I know it's detailed and full of unsolicited advice, but I hope it's entertaining and useful to someone. Read it!

Bowl-O-Rama!
I finally finished all of the bowls to display my jewelry in for both the Renegade Craft Fair and for my open houses and private trunk shows this fall. This was the pre-show thing I got really involved in and it took far more time than I expected. Happily, the time was worth it, because I'm very pleased wih the results.

Still pluggin' along working on all of the hoo-ha for the craft show in 2 days. *gasp* 2 days! It's all going smoothly. Just made two aprons/tool belt thingies for Alise and I to hold $, receipt books and lots of pins to hand out! The bowls to hold all of the jewelry are (neeeeeeaaaarly) done and now I'm waiting for paint to dry. Literally. Waiting for the paint on my banner to dry so I can sew on the trim and fringe. My booth is gonna be bad ass.

Brand-a-Tron
I am a machine. Just made 33 bracelets over the last couple hours. From left to right: green/lt. blue, white/gray, red/orange, tan/green, black/lt. blue, pink/green, tan/red, purple/lavender. All between 7.5" to 8". All $11 each. Contact Me if you're interested in purchasing. I think I'm actually burnt out on jewelry making and may just clean my apartment tonight.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah
So I didn't get much cleaning done. I made jewelry. On the left is one long string of necklace made a brand new beads from today's order. Turquoise and lime green. Next, I need to separate them into necklace and bracelets lengths - Let's see how many I get -

The total length was 168" plus a few more links where needed.

- 3 18" long necklaces ($25)
- 5 16" long necklaces ($25)
- 4 8" bracelets ($15)
- 2 pair earrings ($7)

G'night!

Viva La Fire Mountain Gems!
Man, I love this company. I finally got my head around the show, my inventory and what I wanted to make. Late Wednesday night, I ordered $200 worth of stuff from them - mostly basic finding to replenish supply. Got it Fed Exed overnight. It is in my hot little handed right now.

I think I have to make myself clean the apartment tonight and then use jewelry making as my reward. All my junk is out and getting in the way.

A Night's Work
I've been beefing up my inventory for the Renegade Craft Fair Here's what I made tonight:
a: 4 dark red and silver bracelets. the lighter beads are miracle beads, so they bounced back the flash and don't look quite as pinky. Each bracelet is about 7.5" long.
b: 5 peas and carrot necklaces. Plastic beads with silver findings on leather-like cord. 3 are 16" long, two are 18" long. $21 each.
c. 3 lemon-lime necklaces and 1 bracelets. I really want to lick these. Glass beads in a range of yellow to green. Necklaces are about 17" long and $21 each, bracelet is about 7.5" and $13.
d. 3 yellow bracelets. I am happiest with these. Individually the three beads in this bracelet leave me "meh." Together in this design I totally dig it. Nice undulating design and it feels good to run your fingers across them. $17 each.

These will only go in the online store, if they don't sell in my live shows this fall. So, if you're interested in any please contact me for details and PayPal payment. Thanks!
