Isetta
This is the tiny car in Funny Face. When I saw Fred Astaire jump into it, I had to know what kind of car it was. I searched long and hard, found all sort of other microcars. I didn't find it until I searched "Astaire drove." Viola! So, here's my favorites:

Isetta Source: Everywhere You Want to Go with this Goofy Little Car
http://www.whirlingpool.com/isetta/isetta.htm
Adorable interface. Great intro.

The Best Cut, Fold and Paste Isetta on the Web
http://www.digitallydo.com/bobscutout.html
Vince Budnick, the creator, is right.

BMW Isetta 300

Bob Nelson's Isetta inspired Budnick's paper version. This car is so shiny, lozenge-like and red it makes me salivate.

Isetta Owners Club of Great Britian

Go to Fun Stuff > What's It Like Inside? (Virtual Isetta) for a trip around the world. A Take an Isetta for a spin too.

License Plates

Make your own plate like this one:

Leon Poon's Vanity Plates Web Page

The site to go to if you like to decode the 6-8 character puzzles on the butts of cars.

Microcars
My hunt for the Isetta caused me to cross paths with these other tiny vehicles. Recently, I had a dream that I finally learned to drive because my mom gave me a tiny car that 1) I could fold up 2) I could store in my apartment. These are closest to qualifying.

Mark Perkins' Other Micro Cars
http://homepages.tesco.net/~markperkins/microcars/micro1.htm
His homepage needs fewer moving parts, but has lots of good info - especially about Isettas.

Fuldamobil Fotos

Imagine one of these pulling a 13' Scamp! Blippy happiness.

Microcar Models

Tiny versions of tiny cars. That's sooooo wrong that it's right.

Microcars! The Tour...

Good photos, nice tour.
