Guest Hedgehogs
Britney in Idaho has been emailing me hedgehog questions because she just welcomed two hedgehogs into her home, Wingding and Elbow.

Red, White & Numo
Lenyr (of Cattastic) sent me an invite to a backyard BBQ. Since she and hubby John are in easy walking distance, I got out Numo's RV, uh carrier, and took him with.

Lenyr & John are Cute Overload fans and apparently had been talking about Numo's latest appearance right before we got there. They welcomed us. After I ate my plate of very tasty vegan food, I brought ou Numo. Lenyr hadn't seen him since I first got him and she commented on how social he's become.

He was a good guest, showing his "nosicle" and letting folks feel his quills with very little huffing. In general, I think his curiousity outweighs his fear, so he's pretty darn social when he's out and about. Granted, he does hit a point where his Numo-meter goes into the red zone of overwhelm and he sorta vibrates at a different frequency. Then it's back to the respite of his carrier.

Numo News

Look! See! Meg at Cute Overload posted about Frank Ahrens Washinton Post story about Cute Overload. (Diagram that sentence!) Franks is fond of hedgehogs, so Meg posted a Numo pic. Of Numo, Meg says, "perhaps the most famous moist nosicle on the InterWebs."
