Pre-Spring Butterflies
Need a little color during the cold days of winter? With the popularity of my blue butterfly earrings, I've made them in six more colors!

Valentine Gifties
Check out the Shop homepage for a compilation of Valentine gift ideas. Burst Mugs and Totes make great holders for other gifts and I think the "I (heart) My Life" is the best proclaimation one could make on this saccharine occasion.

Shiny, Silvery, Stretchy Safety Pin Bracelets
Here's a new item in the store - these fun, fun bracelets. I originally made a dark red safety pin bracelet to wear for my sister's wedding. Now here's a variation - all silver and clear beads on 1 1/2" pins. It's a chunk fun bracelets, that quickly became a favorite for me. And here they are in the shop.

Bursts on Shirts!

bursts on shirts

The Burst design began when I saw that CafePress offered clocks, and I thought snidely, "Who would want a clock?" And lotsa of the clocks on CP are so not designed to be clock. Awkward and not legible as a clock.

I chewed on that idea and a few days later made the burst - a circular design that would work with the clock's simple black case and hands. Then I made numbered and plain options. Then mugs, then aprons, then tote bags, then coasters. I thought about it all as a good kitchen designs, thus the food names for the colors.

I bought a Pepper Tote Bag and love it! It's very well constructed and a good size. I use mine all the time.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of those on CafePress who plaster a design on every darn thing when the image's content or proportions just don't fit. That old "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should" adage. So, I generally just put my designs on the items they were designed for.

Well... the Bursts grew on me, and I finally put them on wearables. I bought a Steel T-Shirt for myself and it looks sharp! Now you can get the jaunty bursts on the following wearables:

  • White T-Shirt , $18.99
  • Fitted T-shirt (USA Made), $19.99
  • Long Sleeve T-Shirt, $21.99
  • Women's T-Shirt, $18.99
  • Baby Doll T-Shirt, $19.99
  • Spaghetti Tank, $19.99
  • Camisole, $18.99
  • Kids T-Shirt, $16.99
  • Infant/Toddler T-Shirt, $9.99
  • Infant Creeper, $9.99
  • Bib, $7.99

Go to my CafePress store's Bursts section to view all of your options.
