Any time you see an

the link goes to a site that I've become an affiliate for. If you click
on that link and make a purchase, I'll get a small commission. No cost
to you. I affiliate with sites I've had good experiences with and support
myself. And the commissions from your purchases help me keep Loosetooth.com
going.
The Big List
Amazon
The Granddaddy of online commerce. I buy from them when I can and do
oodles and oodles of research on the site.

CafePress
Print-on-demand products that couldn't be simpler and lower risk. I
use CafePress for a lot of my products. As a designer, it's great for
me because the start up costs are minimal and I have no inventory or
fulfillment to fret over.
Half.com
I think Half.com started as a way to buy and sell textbooks for no more
than half their price. Now you can get all sorts of products on the
site. The more popular the product, the cheaper the price since the
pricing is competitive among sellers. When I want to buy a book, I check
here first. But I think the best thing is how easy it is to sell stuff
through them. Very simple interface to get your books, cds, videos,
dvds up for sale.
Hostway
Hostway's my host and I like 'em enough to recommend them to my clients.
I like that they have a variety of packages to cover everyone and my
customer service experiences have all been good. I've been with them
for a few years and I think my site's been down (to my knowledge) 3
times - all very brief.

Neighborhoodies
A New York company with a simple idea, well-executed: Sweatshirts with
your neighborhood on it. Small business with a great attitude.
Netflix
Simply put, I love Netflix.
PayPal
Using PayPal was a huge leap in getting my online store off the ground.
Now that Ebay owns it and it's taken hold with their buyers and sellers,
it's become a good alternative to merchant accounts.
