100% of sales of ColorFULL on November 30, 2021 will be donated to Artists Book House. Audrey Niffenegger was a wonderful mentor to me in the mid-90's, when I was a wee printmaker. She's currently leading the restoration and transformation of Harley Clarke House in Evanston into Artists Book House.
Order Color-FULL below and I'll add your funds to my December 1 donation. Or skip the coloring book and donate directly to them on their site.
a coloring book of messages
of care and resilience
After postponing my Spring 2020 teaching tour due to COVID-19, I was looking for a way to get grounded, get creative and get my bills paid.
I turned to a lifelong coping mechanism — Drawing.
It serves so many purposes. 😉
I pulled out 4 drawings from my newsletters years ago, and added 6 more to create a PDF coloring book for you!
Will this coloring book solve Life's Big Problems?
(If it does, LET ME KNOW.)
Can quiet time choosing your colors and filling in these shapes, give your brain some relief?
Can you feel a some sense of control among all this uncertainty?
It may be small, but it will.
I am drawn to (no pun intended) messages of perseverance and perspective because life is hard.
The shape of your kind of hard is different than mine. But as my sister Burgundy tells me, "We can do hard things."
I love it when she says that.
Making these drawings in March 2020 was therapeutic for me. It let me use a lifelong skill and love of drawing to quiet my mind, calm the fear, feel creative and in control.
When you order and print this PDF coloring book, I hope coloring these pages brings you calm and joy.
Just enough to get some relief so you are a little more ready to do the hard things.
Here is what's inside:

However, please don't share the PDF in its entirety, unless you purchase more below.
It's the honor system, Friends.
