Today, "Twos Day," 2.22.22 we launched an anthology, Scars to Stars: Stories of Vulnerability, Resilience, and Overcoming Adversity.

In the video above, I share my thoughts on our launch, our habit of calibrating pain, and my experiences surrounding suicide.

These 10 minutes are definitely more light l than that description implies.
Content warning: Suicide

This book is led by Deana Brown Mitchell with all proceeds go to the Realize Foundation. As Deana shares, "I believe that conversation and community is the only way we are going to make a dent in mental health and suicide rates."

I was part of her Scars to Stars Summit in March 2021. I adapted my talk into the chapter "Shushing the Inner Critic."

My chapter is relatively light as part of the collection. The authors each share their own story and many cover hard, hard territory. Consider that your content warning if you need to be actively taking in sunshine and light right now.

If you have seen dark times, you'll find solace in the pages that you are not alone. And that there is hope and support out there.
