So we're doing THIS now?

May 12, 2013
woman who should know better photobombing a Picasso painting.

I've been seeing the shifts in how folks are looking at art in museums. At the British Museum, a glut of people surrounded the Rosetta Stone's vitrine, ALL taking pictures with their phones. Leaving me alone with the nearby replica you could touch.

Today, Jenni Grover, Joe Germuska and I caught the Picasso Megashow before it closed. Unsurprisingly, there were tons people, most of them shuffling around with their phones up and ready to capture the next piece.

Then this happened. A natural next step in the phone culture oozing over art culture.

I would never photobomb a stranger, or a humorless friend. But I can't stop giggling at how dumb this was.
