In March 2008, I was hired by IACC to draw a Town Hall meeting at their North American conference. It was a pleasure to be in the company of people who care about great meetings as much as I do. IACC certifies conference centers around the world on a set of criteria (see the left side of the drawing, for the categories).

Their focus is on 25-75 person meetings, and their spaces are designed for productive, focused meetings. I've had the pleasure to work many times at Chicago's Summit Executive Centre, an IACC member. I've enjoyed working there so much, I put in my vote for the Summit as the location for this year's graphic facilitator's conference. And that was before I ever heard of IACC! The quality of the space spoke for itself.


At the annual conference, I picked up IACC's introductory brochure, "The Conference Center Concept." Similar content here. Wanting to share my skills as a graphic facilitator with the attendees and wanting to share the benefits of IACC spaces here on my site, I drew this image:
