Small Gestures: It's the little things | Panel at Chicago Humanities Festival 2008

I so enjoy going to the Chicago Humanities Festival. This year I made it to two talks, this one and Inventing Kindergarten. This was a super interesting panel of four men talking about how small acts can build up to large movements. Basically, the top half of the drawing was Columbia College industrial design professor Kevin Henry speaking (the mining pyramid clockwise to participation). The circle at 4:00 on the clock was Columbia College professor and bicycle enthusiast Zack Furness. At 6:00 and the great connecting key point in the upper left was University of Chicago doctoral student Kris Cohen. The lower right corner was Chicago web developer Adrian Holovaty who introduced his project EveryBlock.com, that got the crowd buzzing.
